Dunked On Under the Water

On my way to the run of a lifetime, one to help those in need, those who have no help in what they do. I look at him with the eyes of 12-year-old me with eyes of golden brown, so many people but, only one sticks out to me; from his stand to his voice I see the man that will now have changed my life forever. I never had any idea of changing how my life was but, that all changed when I realized who the man is, while is stood on stage speaking only truth that is when I understood how terrible my life was, I never understood til 15-year-old me finally let go of pride on and allowed the man on stage dunk my underwater and allowed me to change my life forever.  I will never forget my pastor Kenny Nix and my lord and savior for what they both have done for me and what they are still doing for me. I will always remember the moment of my baptism and major life change for not just me but, for my whole family.

The Scarlet Letter Language

Hawthorne Language is very strange to the eyes of the modern people, but the words he used are so important and so strong. The Scarlet letter is a very dark American past but, not many people see it, nor heard about how rough it was but Nathanial used words that helped us understand the pain back then like Gallows, Meager, & Scaffold. These words when you read them you can see a badness around them but, in Hawthorne’s words you see that these words have a more important in the way he uses them and sets them in sentences.

Theme in the The Scarlet Letter

The Scarlet Letter portrays many different themes the main two themes are Guilt & Isolation. We see these two are shown throughout everywhere in “The Scarlet Letter”, We see that Mr.Dimmsdale was guilty about dying and lying about it just like in “The Green Mile”, With the part in the movie where Hank’s character is explaining to his lady friend about why he is so much older than he looks, we see is guilty of living longer than the prisoner who was put on death row who saved his life.
